There are many different animals you can have as your best friends, but cats are the superior here, like c’mon, they were even worshiped as gods once.
Personally, I have a black cat, the ones that are so called “bad luck,” and if you ask me they aren’t bad luck unless emerging from the darkness and being hard to see is bad luck. But any cat is a good cat, you just have to raise it the right way.
Think about how many times you have heard about someone's dog using the restroom on their floor or tearing up a couch of some sort? Now think about the time you heard someone say their cat used the restroom somewhere on the floor? Not as often, because they have a litter box, depending on you, the owner, this litter box could smell wonderful or smell like the worst thing your nostrils have ever come across.
Cats are calm and somewhat peaceful and usually go on about their day not giving you a care really, they have their energetic moments, but don’t we all?
You can set up little shelves that they can play on and even get them a whole big scratching post and see them go crazy.
Along with all these fun, interesting things cats have some of the craziest personalities, you never know what you are going to get out of them, just like a surprise. Some are really hyper while others are lazy, while every once in a while you find one that is just a little wonky, but in a cute way.
People have said certain types of cats have certain meanings or act a certain way. For example, like I said earlier, black cats are said to be bad luck, orange cats are said to be crazy, and that's about all I know.
Cats are meant to be cats, and they basically do whatever they want, so in the end they really are gods.
