Popstar Harry Styles has announced his very own beauty brand, Pleasing. Styles’ gender neutral brand is inspired by the things he uses in his own daily routines. He announced pre orders on November 15 and is officially dropping for regular sales on November 29.
The production line is small, but we are assured that there will be more coming soon. The line starts with four pearl-inspired nail polishes. The plant based nail polishes were created to mimic the iridescence of pearls. His team used post-consumer plastics and compostable paper printed with bio-sourced inks.
Next, is the Pleasing Pen, a dual-ended eye and lip serum infused with okra, marshmallow, and lingonberry.
And lastly, he Pearlescent Illuminating Serum, a smooth luminescence that dissolves into the formula when dispensed.
Styles is trying to be careful and guard the brand, he wants to be open in a way that he hasn’t before. “We’re Pleasing and we’re not perfect, and we are always gonna be trying to learn to do better.”
The singer told Dazed that his goal was to make people feel their best and most confident, no matter which product they gravitate towards.
"I don't think being beautiful or feeling beautiful is about looking good. When people are happy and glowing, they're radiating. And that's what I think the products do, it's about helping you feel beautiful.”
